Hello you, whoever reads this that is.

As you may have noticed I've not released anything for a bit, and at the moment there won't be much new work released here either.
I've come to the conclusion that abstract art is no longer my style, it's not something that pops into my head and I give it a think for a set period and then work on the idea. My abstract artwork has mostly been me playing around with a few things and come out with some result which I've been more or less happy with.

As I looked through a ' Professional Photoshop ' Magazine here the other day I was rather disappointed to be honest, the techniques they were giving tutorials about where nothing new, and most of the artwork by artists around the world (some DA users) were nothing too special, it didn't really tickle my fancy, didn't inspire me at all. Most of what I see of art nowadays is the same stuff, nothing original, it's just the same circles and spots and dashes of paint here and there. The real original work and work that actually should be in focus in magazines instead of the mainstream art which is published along with two tutorials and 70 pages of adverts in magazines nowadays seems to be overlooked, and I think it's a great shame, because talented artists do hard work and try hard to get a breakthrough which could lead to them realising a dream of theirs.

My field is surrealism, you may not think my surrealistic artwork is any good, but it is my attempt to create a digitalised image of images that appear in my dreams or in my 'weird' state of mind now and then.
So from now on I'll be focusing on my surrealistic artwork, and should my university work rise to a satisfying level, I might add some 3D or photo manipulations in the near future.
